A picture of me

I am a Royal Society Dorothy Hodgkin Fellow and Lecturer at the University of Bristol (UK).

Before that, I did my PhD under the supervision of Nalini Anantharaman at the Université de Strasbourg, in France. I was also a guest at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn (Germany) in the team of Ursula Hamenstädt, as well as a Research Associate with Jens Marklof in Bristol.

My current PhD students are Daniel Meriaz (2024 - 28) and Aapo Karvonen (2025 - 29), both joint students with Jens Marklof. We are also happy to host Yulin Gong as a postdoctoral researcher.

I am one of the organisers of the web-seminar Spectral Geometry in the Clouds, together with Alexandre Girouard and Jean Lagacé.

Emma Bailey and myself are organising the CMI-HIMR Summer School on Random Geometries and Random Matrices in Bristol, June 1-5, 2026. Registrations are open.

I have recently started a collaborative project aiming to formalize Friedman's theorem in Lean 4 using the polynomial method. The website of the project can be found here. Please contact me on zulip or by email if you would like to contribute to the project; there are many things to do, big and small, from different fields of mathematics.
